We are closed for all public holidays and for 2 weeks over the Christmas and New Year period. Our educators have extensive training in the hasty childhood field. They are dedicated, inspiring, loving and committed to reinforcing your child’s learning and development every day. We believe that a tall quality center is staffed by tall quality educators. For this reason we foster our staff to always engage in professional development activities. All our staff are suited to manage beginning help emergencies as well as manage health issues such as asthma and anaphylaxis. Additionally, all staff employed at Trivial Hands have passed a Active with Children Check as needed by child concern legislation. Our small, homelike environment allows children to feel homey and optimistic to explore and discover. In the early morning and late afternoon these groups come together for outdoor play and other activities. We trust there are many areas of learning that contribute to getting a kid ready for school. Our program is based on providing chilled, open ended, play based experiences that extend on children’s interests. In addition to this we donate an element of conventional preschooling in our program which aims to prepare children in the areas of basic numeracy and literacy. Sounds, letter and number recognition, basic comprehension, name writing and counting are practiced using games and play during group times. Children are encouraged to prosper their independence by looking behind their own belongings and accessing their own hats, lunch boxes and school bags throughout the day. We trust that development of self help skills is required for an effective and glossy transition to school. We view meal times as a special time for children and staff to socialism and appreciate each others' company. Lunchboxes are provided from home with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. We encourage children to make choices from their lunchboxes that are well and nutritious as healthy as access their own water bottles regularly throughout the day. We are a Cancer Council unsafe center so children are needed to wear hats at all times whilst outside. Sunscreen is provided and we inquire parents to apply it to their children when signing in each morning.
